3rd Grade

In 3rd Grade, HFCA students continue their exploration of the arts, sciences and religion with lots of hands on activities and lessons. Guided by the Diocese of Dallas Catholic Schools curriculum, some of the things that HFCA 3rd grade students learn to do include: 

• Describe ways to take part in their communities by learning about and discerning their God-given talents 
• Work collaboratively with one another by following agreed upon rules, protocols and lessons 
• Use print or digital resources to determine meaning, syllabication, and pronunciation
• Plan and conduct investigations and collect information using appropriate scientific tools
• Identify good characters of citizenship
