Admission Requirements
Age of Admission (early childhood and kindergarten)
- Children entering Pre-K3 must be three (3) years of age by September 1st and for the health and safety of all students sharing the classroom, the student should be fully potty trained.
- Children entering Pre-K4 must be four (4) years of age by September 1st and for the health and safety of all students sharing the classroom, the student should be fully potty trained.
- Children entering Kindergarten must be five (5) years of age by September 1st.

*HFCA follows the immunization policy of the Texas Catholic Conference of Bishops-Education Department: “Every student enrolled in a Catholic School in the State of Texas shall be immunized against vaccine preventable diseases caused by infectious agents in accordance with the immunization schedule adopted by the Texas Department of State Health Services. A student who fails to present the required evidence shall not be accepted for enrollment. Conscientious objections or waivers, which may be permissible for attendance in public schools, do not qualify as an exemption in Catholic Schools in Texas.”
**Students applying for Admission in Grades 1-8 must present a copy of the current report card and standardized test results. These will be reviewed to determine whether the program at Holy Family Catholic Academy will meet the educational needs of the students. An interview with the parents/student is also part of the admission process. At the time of registration, all new students seeking admission to Holy Family Catholic Academy are evaluated on the basis of current standardized test scores and report cards.
Please also note, testing in some academic areas may be held for new incoming students in Grades pre K through 8. All new students will be given a trial period in which to prove himself/herself both socially and academically. If during this trial period there are any problems, a student may be asked to withdraw his/her attendance at Holy Family Catholic Academy.Nondiscriminatory Policy
