Dennis Underwood has found his work with the students at Holy Family very rewarding for the past 10 years. He is the Technology Director at HFCA. In this role, he maintains all technology on the church and school campus. He also teaches Technology Applications to grades 5-8, blending foundations in technology with relevant, practical use of technology for the classroom and the real world.
Mr. Underwood is sponsor of the Robotics Club which meets after school in season. His students have placed repeatedly at the highest levels in annual diocesan completion. Before school, you will find him greeting our students in the parking lot, rain or shine.
Prior to HFCA, Mr. Underwood was the Technology Director at All Saints Catholic School, Dallas, for seven years. While there, he founded the athletic league at ASCS, served as the Athletic Director, and coached volleyball, basketball, softball, soccer, track and field. Before his career in education, he was with Southwestern Bell/AT&T/Lucent, working in all aspects of hardware, management, sales, and technical training for 32 years.
Mr. Underwood has a M.S. in Telecommunication Systems Management from SMU, and a B.S. in Business from Amberton University. He also served in the U.S. Army as a Medical Corpsman. He is originally from Kansas City, Missouri.
