Here at Holy Family Catholic Academy, God has given each member of our school community a wonderful calling.  We are called to be sisters and brothers in Christ, and as we learn to live out this vocation, we are also learning about our Catholic faith and the wonders of the beautiful world that God has created.  All members of our community, be they faculty, students or parents, are both leaders and learners in this process.  We welcome all who are interested in joining us in this journey of faith and growth.

Our school, as a parish school, is part of the ministry of Holy Family of Nazareth Catholic Church in Irving, Texas.  The purpose of the school is to serve the families of the parish and its community by making an excellent Catholic education available to as many children of our community as possible.

Our Mission Statement describes the basis for all of our planning and activities: 
    
The Mission of Holy Family Catholic Academy is to welcome each child in Jesus' name, developing within our students a love for God, learning, and others.

Our goals are to:
      + Help students grow in their faith in Christ and develop an understanding of how                one lives life in light of that faith,
      + Direct students in recognizing the creative strengths and talents God has given                them and how to develop them as life-long learners,
      + Draw on the best practices in the tradition of Catholic education to teach students            how to develop their intellect and apply it for study and analytical thought,
      + Develop in students an understanding of the needs of others and a desire to serve          as a brother or sister in Christ.
